No, it's not grand. But I'm thankful for all these awesome friends in my life. They may be a small bunch of people but their actions speak louder than words.
This 19th was somehow like a clarion call. Time to start planning for your future, J! Don't want my dreams of becoming a journalist dashed.
Went to the zoo the next day because of its free admission(free what, just go lor). Ok anyway, this is besides the point. The point is, Daniel and I witnessed a proposal. It was during the sealion show. At first, the man volunteered himself to throw a frisbee to the sealion and receiving a wet kiss from the sealion after that. Obviously, the sealion refuse because 1) it's not gay 2) it refuse to kiss an ugly man(ok this is meant to be a joke). So the zookeeper suggested inviting a female friend of his up on stage to receive the kiss on his behalf(this female friend happens to be his girlfriend of 8 years). It was perfectly normal and nobody suspected anything. While the girlfriend was busy receiving that wet, sloppy kiss, the man took out a ring, infront of all the audience knelt down to propose :,) That was the most interesting way to propose to someone. And yes, this simple gesture touched me. Ain't I easy to please?? ;)
